You may familiar with RGE Engineering Company for your design, toolmaking and UK injection moulding last presented at Interplas 2005. Since then there has been major investments at RGE which now presents itself as 'RGE Group' because of two new manufacturing sites now open in Lithuania and China which positions RGE as a global partner. This global strategy suits both our small and large production volume clientele because if you are a start-up or small company you will require options of scalability or if you are a large bluechip company you will be looking for local manufacturing for your landmass markets from one approved supplier to rationalise your supply chain. Also new is our European Sales office based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Until recently RGE has used agents in Europe to promote our products and services but due to our new production capacities in the UK and Lithuania an in-house team is essential to drive our new business targets in mainland Europe.

About RGE Group RGE was founded in 1963 by two brothers Rodney/Gordon and their father Ernie. Today Gordon remains in the business along with his son Dan Leach. From the small beginnings of producing injection moulded fishing bait boxes a short distance away from RGE Headquarters in Godmanchester north of Cambridge, RGE now produces in excess of 3.5 million mouldings pcm out of it's UK operations.

June sees the publication of RGE's newly designed newsletter - Moulding Matters. The newsletter brings together the regular internal newsletter, environmental newsletter and other communications into one concise document that brings all our customers, suppliers and most importantly our workforce up-to-date with RGE's many activities. RGE Finalist in Plastic Industry Design Awards - May 2008
RGE has the honour of being made a finalist in the PLastic Industry Design Awards for the pioneering work carried out on the Coolblue Box fish logistics project. The award ceremony takes place on June 20th, 2008 in London. www.plasticawards.com
RGE - New Furniture Catalogue LAUNCHED- 13/10/06
October sees the publication of RGE Engineering's new office furniture catalogue for 2007. The new catalogue includes many new additions including ergonomically acclaimed products from RGE's in-house team of designers and engineers. The RGE universal structural seat is a patented design of seat that can be used as multi-functional platform from which to design an office chair around. With many features and options the seat provides integrated seat slide, structural rigidity for mounting arms directly to the seat, compatability with all RGE's range of arms and optional built-in lumbar pump. click here for more information
