I wonder if you recognise the RGE Public stacking chair in the background that match officials are sitting on along with back office uses. The All England Lawn Tennis Club purchased over 500 chairs from one of RGE’s seating catalogue customers for this years 125th Year tournament.
A very prestigious contract for our customer to win and great television exposure for the Public chair. As part of the contract the plastic mouldings had to be matched to the corporate green Wimbledon is renowned for. It is a good example of RGE colour matching capabilities.

RGE exhibited at the bi-annual fair in May 2011. It is an International fair for the furniture and interior construction industries'. RGE was amongst 1,370 exhibitors from 63 countries. The fair attracts over 47,000 visitors from 130 countries. The fair space is 152,00m2 so you need a good pair of shoes to get around the whole show from Wednesday to Saturday.
Representatives from RGE included our UK and European sales teams along with RGE Directors and Purchasing teams.
RGE was upstairs in hall 5.2. This years campaign was to present RGE Chair Project Capabilities using case studies of various project types, these included; a complex task chair back assembly, chair bases, high aesthetic shells, all-in-one education chairs, gas injection shells and visitor chairs. In addition to the case studies RGE Furniture Designer, Mark Temple, was attending and presenting his new chair concepts using an iPad.
The campaigns were a great success enabling RGE to reiterate our capabilities to our existing customer base and attract new customers. The case studies on the stand unquestionably proved our abilities and along with the chair concepts have progressed into enquiries already.
Orgatec 2011 in November is the next big furniture fair in Europe and we imagine RGE manufactured components will be featuring heavily on our customers’ products.
