RGE's core business is the design and manufacture of injection moulding tools, with manufacturing capability in Godmanchester (UK), Marine Grande (Portugal) and Dongguan (China). Established over 35 years earlier, the toolmaking facility has expanded into a centre of excellence .
Constant re-investment has ensured the tool shop has expanded with technological advancements, including CNC wire-eroding, CAD/CAM milling machines and lathes. |
Quality is the key word, with the advantage of modern technology, tools are made in conjunction with our resident team of design and tooling engineers based in the UK. All tools are tried and tested to meet client specification prior to being released for production.
For all tools commissioned to RGE we dedicate a Project Leader, who is responsible for all technical interface communications with the customer, which includes a Project Gannt chart for each individual tool to allow progress to be monitored daily.

The machines listed in the ' RGE Tool-Room Plant-List ' are directly linked to our CAD/CAM department which uses the latest versions of Delcam Powermill (for tool cutter path generation) & Delcam Powershape CAD software for tool design & modifications. This is a hybrid modelling system which allows us to uyilise the best of both the surface and solids systems of CAD modelling. These are run on state of the art hardware which is constantly being updated to the latest specification.
Information can be accepted in virtually any file type via e-mail or hard data, however our prefered format is I.G.E.S. All customers will be allocated a dedicated and secure FTP download site for transfer of files from RGE back to the customer. |
