Material Filler

We currently have a vacancy for a Material Filler in our Whittlesey site, on a continental rotating shift pattern. Working within health and safety guidelines with the material handlers your role will be primarily ensuring all machines have sufficient material to run to production needs efficiently including management of the re-granulated sprues and the process by which they are reused. Working closely with the setting team, maintenance department, and quality control departments you will work as part of a team to increase efficiency, reduce wastage and ensure BOM's are kept up to date, including checking handling equipment.

Applicants for this position must be suitably qualified, have several years experience of setting tooling and a variety of injection moulding machines to acceptable quality levels, and maintain production targets within a plastics processing environment.
Process optimization, improving efficiency and minimal downtime will be the goals for the successfull applicant, whilst being able to work in a safe and tidy manner, adhering to company wide current health and safety legislation. Must be prepared to work on a continental shift pattern 4 on 4 off 2 weeks days 2 weeks nights.
