Introducing The Datum

The Datum is a strong and practical high density multi-purpose stacking chair. It is comfortable, tough, and easy to handle and arrange, making it ideal for conferences, dining areas and common rooms, as well as public buildings such as schools, universities, and offices.

The classic sled frame is made from high tensile 12mm steel wire coated with chrome 3. The Datum is now available with two new alternative frames in Brushed Metal and Copper. The contoured seat and back are available in a variety of colours and are moulded in recycled polypropylene with a matt finish. The linking feet and stacking blocks are made from clear polycarbonate. All the components that make Datum can be separated, identified and recycled, making the chair 100% recyclable and easy to refurbish.
The Datum is available with fixed legs as a stackable chair, or as a swivel chair on base with castors. The Datum can also be ordered with a matching plastic back and seat, and can be upholstered. Writing tablets are also available in Left Hand or Right Hand format.

Up to 32 chairs can be stacked on a trolley 180cm high, and has been tested to EN16139:2013 Level 2 for extremely high loads.
