RGE Baltic Site Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Quality Certification

The RGE Baltic site, based in Lithuania, has now obtained ISO 9001:2015 quality certification. The ISO 9001:2015 is a great indicator of high standards, consistency, and quality, and is the world’s most popular quality management standard. This is great news for the Baltic site, as the ISO 9001:2015 provides a quality management framework that can be implemented to ensure the quality of RGE products and services is consistent. Achieving ISO certification provides the Baltic site with the independence to implement their own frameworks under this guidance. This shows the steps that RGE have taken to maintain consistently high standards across all sites. This in turn reduces the chance of product faults, recalls, or service shortcomings, allowing customers to buy with confidence and quality assurance.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification for the Baltic site demonstrates RGE’s commitment to consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations. ISO is an international organisation with 162 member countries which recognise the importance of these standards to increase international trade. ISO certification is also recognised by the EU. In a post-Brexit Europe, RGE are able to maintain the same standards at all sites, with the assurance of excellent service and high quality goods. This audited certification should help to increase sales and trade at home and abroad, and allows for the Baltic site to attract a wider EU customer base whilst operating with the same capabilities as the UK RGE sites.

The Baltic site achieving the ISO 9001:2015 provides standalone autonomy for RGE in Lithuania. The site is now able to implement their own business models and management systems as part of the ISO certification. The Baltic site will also be able to take on more production work to supplement our existing customers in Home Goods, Technology & Electronics, and Office Furniture for companies in Northern Europe, with existing clients in Sweden, Denmark and Germany. The ISO helps to ensure new projects are managed from concept through to production effectively, supported by a dedicated New Product Introduction Team. The transfer of existing projects and tooling will also follow the same dedicated process. This is a huge and recognisable achievement for the RGE Baltic site.
