Providing Assistance to In-House Moulders


Due to unforeseen changes or problems that may arise, companies with their own production facilities sometimes require more capacity in order to meet their desired output. This may be a temporary requirement due to a machine breakdown, or the in-house facilities running at full capacity. During busy periods, in-house moulders may need more machines to mould more parts or products in a shorter space of time.

RGE are on hand to help with any production issues you may encounter, and can provide you with the capacity to accommodate your needs in one of our own factories. We currently work with a number of in-house moulders, taking on part of their production run to help meet their requirements by moving their production to set up a cell of their output in one of our facilities.

Large injection moulding machines

Looking to produce a part or product requiring a moulding machine bigger than those you are currently able to offer? RGE is home to the largest injection moulding machines in the UK, with a clamp force range of 25 to 3150 tonnes, as well as twin shot and gas injection capabilities.

Quality Control

Whether it be the parts we produce or the service we provide – quality matters. Our team will work with you to understand the quality requirements of your mould tool and end product.

RGE pioneered use of the award-winning ThingTrax machine monitoring system - used to monitor the efficiency of our factories. Our QC team carry out pre-production tests on the raw material using Melt Flow Index (MFI) equipment to ensure it meets the requirements for the job. Tests carried out on mouldings throughout the production run include checks on the colour using a Spectrophotometer or Lightbox, as well as ensuring the parts measure within the agreed tolerances using a Co-Ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Learn more here.
